Getting Crafty...

This weekend I attempted a Bakerella staple.  Cake Pops...
(I'll upload the pictures later) They turned out pretty good, but Bakerella deserves a lot of credit.  They are tedious!
Check out her new cookie ideas for a summertime cutter, the ice cream cone! How cute!

Mother...

Love love love Kelly Ripa...
I'm always laughing-
I know she's an exercise fanatic (kinda like my mother)-
And when you reach a certain age you have to start slowing it down.
Mother doesn't think so. She's still kickin', not that you're old by any means.
This situation that Kelly is in seems just reminds me of you and how you might react.

Talk about Sea Sickness...

Ah... I just saw this on Regis and Kelly and reaffirmed my new dislike for cruise ships.
I have been on my fair share of cruises, I might be done too.
Look at this scary situation in Antarctica.  Scarryy...
Of Course it is a smaller ship, but still-

Crumbled Gingerbread...

Remember the Purple Pansy Club, Meg?

Mother's new fire pit and "kum-by-ya" area...
And what fire is good without "sit-upons"? I can't believe Meg was ever a girl scout.  Girl Scouts has a lot to do with nature.

Every year we decorate gingerbread houses over Thanksgiving break.  I'm normally the designated decorator.  Recently we've made it into a competition: boys vs. girls
Sadly, when we opened the boxes to set up our pre-made house,
they were BOTH crumbled.  Thanks, walmart.
Hopefully mother has gone back to the source and demanded new ones.
The girls are ready for a challenge...

Christmas Cards...

So it’s Christmas card season, and we’ve begun the hunt to find the perfect card.  Back in the day, we would spend countless hours on taking the perfect picture that each of the children approved of.  Well, we still do, but now it is much simpler when it comes to ordering and getting our cards ready to send out.  These days you can simply choose the template, upload your picture, and you’re good to go!  It’s just as easy as that.  On Shutterfly, we have narrowed it down to a few candidates that will suit our family Christmas card just right.  You can help us decide.  Shutterfly is so easy.  I use them when I just want to print off various print sizes of the digital pictures I’ve taken.  Also, every year, my sister creates a calendar for the family with pictures of the cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles, etc.  She gets pretty creative and adds in important dates to help us forgetful ones remember.  They’ve got many great options for these calendars.  There are many ways to get creative with Shutterfly.  And they've always got the good deals going...  You’ll be seeing our cute Christmas card soon!

Here's some of the finalists:
