Times of Refreshing...

Just something to think about today...

   

Acts 3:19-20

"Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out,

that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord..."

Sometimes we want the presence of the Lord without the repentance that is necessary.  Repentance is just agreeing with God and the reality of who you really are.  (2 Cor 5:17- We are new creations, and because of this we must remember that the process of repenting and becoming renewed in Christ occurs every day.

My week..

These are a few of the pictures I have taken over the past week.  I loveee flowers and can't get over how pretty these were! Meg is determined to plant some hydrangeas soon along with herbs.
The family got together for a pre-memorial day dinner, finally since the "all-star" son decided to grace us with his presence at home! Meg and I had a good time taking pictures of all the food, practicing our food blogging skills.  Nice job on the grill, mother, aka Gravitron mom. (making the most of every opportunity to show those muscles-i'm impressed)

They might consider me a stalker, but I love Whitney's sense of style.  The hair styles can be a bit much sometimes, but she's not afraid of new things. Don't get me wrong, everyone has their moments of "what the heck is she wearing" from me, but overall-- she's on my list of people to watch!

Recently I have been thinking back to the wonderful time I spent in Paris.  Sadly, I don't have many pictures to remember it by.  Paris is on my list of favorite places to visit again-

Sunshine

  Summer is finally here! It's nice to have some time off, but there are some things i do miss though. Like.. My amazing roommate and friends, walking across campus, gatherings at the house and my cozy room. I love school and miss it dearly, but I'm sure it'll come back around before I know it.  Laying out in the sun, getting facials, eating fresh, healthy foods, seeing my long-lost friends, hanging with the family, boat rides with my man, are definitely some perks of being home!! Nice to see you again, Mr. Summertime!
